In the NT, Vinnies operates several tailored services including emergency to short term accommodation, outreach services, mobile food vans, youth mentoring and emergency assistance. We provide crisis accommodation for over 60 people every night of the year and place an emphasis on breaking personal cycles of poverty by helping people to learn to make better decisions through education and recreational programs. The Society has experienced an increase in need this year, with our Hostels and Outreach Services operating at full capacity, providing accommodation, meals and support for up to 250 members of our Community across the Northern Territory each day. |
